The Google Dictionary defines parasite as "an organism that
lives on or in an organism of another species, known as the host, from the body of which it obtains nutrient." This parasite do not exempt the human body to make as their abode.
The World Health Organization approximates that a fourth of the world's population experiences chronic intestinal parasitic infections. They enter to the human body and compete with the digestive system for nutrients and secretes waste by-products into the gut and bloodstream that are capable of causing allergic and autoimmune reactions. The causes of parasitic infections usually include contaminated water, undercooked meats, improperly washed fruits and vegetables, public swimming pools, pets and even family and friends.
Numerous parasitic infections' symptoms are often messed us with a variety of other disorders. Here are numbers of symptoms: constipation, depressed immune function, diarrhea, eczema, enlarge lymph glands, excessive hunger, allergies, anemia, bloating, chronic fatigue, fever, flu symptoms, gas, grinding the
teeth at night, hives, nervousness, rashes, reddened eyes, irritable bowel
syndrome, irritability, jaundice, joint and muscle aches or pains,sleep disturbances, weight gain and weight loss.
The Discovery Channel mentioned that one of the places that had been known victim of parasitic infections is the city of Milwaukee. In April 1993, the place had attacked of cryptosporidium parasite. There were 400, 000 residents that victimized of such parasite that resulted to death of the 200 residents. This has been known as the largest parasitic outbreak ever recorded in the United States.
